Buffalo Windmill Weight

Buffalo cast iron Windmill counterbalance Weight from a C. 1900 Midwestern windmill. 10 3/4" high. 15 1/4" wide, 5/6" thick. Weight is about 10 lbs. Good old in use paint with wear. No damages or repairs. From a South Dakota collection. Maker unknown, but often attributed to the Dempster Mill Manufacturing Co. of Beatrice, Nebraska. Mounted for display on a contemporary base.
